Wuyishan Transportation

Wuyishan airport has cleared the scheduled flight to other major cities in China such as : Fuzhou, Xiamen, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Shantou, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Xi'an, Jinjiang, Wenzhou, Hong Kong. The Wuyishan airport in the southern outskirt of Wuyishan City, about 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) from the downtown Wuyishan and Mount Wuyi Scenic Area.
By Train
Wuyishan can be access by train only if you start from Fuzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou and Shanghai. From Beijing, Nanjing, Hefei (in Anhui Province) and Nanchang (in Jiangxi Province), the destination is Shaowu in Fujian Province, from which you must take a long-distance bus to go to Wuyishan. If you set off from Hangzhou, you will have to stop at Shangrao in Jiangxi Province and also take a bus for around 4 hours.
By Bus
Shangrao in Jiangxi Province, Nanping and Shaowu are the main passes to Mount Wuyi. It is about 3 hours from downtown Nanping and Shaowu to the Mount Wuyi, and 4 hours are needed from Shangrao. Within the scenic area, charted vehicle may be wanted for individual tourists. Nanping's bus station stands in the Binhai Road, Yanping District. By the express way, Nanping can be reached from Fuzhou within 3 hours.
