Pucheng County

Pucheng County is a county under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Nanping, in northernmost Fujian province. Pucheng county is named for the Nanpuxi River, a major tributary to the Minjiang River.

Pucheng comprises 3383.02 square km in the Wuyishan mountain range which separates Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. It borders Songxi County to the southeast, Jianyang City to the south and Wuyishan City (location of the famous UNESCO park) to the west, all within Nanping. The municipality of Shangrao, borders to the northwest; those of Quzhou, to the north, and Lishui, to the east, are in Zhejiang province.

Floating Hill
Located 10 kilometers east of Pucheng County, the Floating Hill is like a pendulum tail, extending three province of China, including Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi province. Ming famous traveler Xu Xiake describe the Floating Hill as " float covered hill in mind ".
